Paris is the capital of the world when it comes to poo littered footpaths. The city is home to more than 200,000 dogs who leave behind about 16 tonnes of evidence per day. So be warned! Watch your step and don’t put your foot in it.
The Hounds of Cheverny
The kennels of Cheverny date from 1850 and are home to a hundred Anglo-French tricolor dogs, resulting from a cross between English Fox Hounds and French Poitevins. They are working dogs and are active during the hunting season (Oct-Mar).
